Trusted Glass Craftsmanship since 1967Silas Koonse, co-owner
Silas Koonse grew up working at Koonse Glass. He is the son of Michael Koonse and grandson of Mel Koonse (original owner who opened the business in 1967 with wife Mary Sue Koonse). He worked at other local Columbia businesses after he graduated from Columbia College, but he knew he wanted to help grow the Koonse Glass business long-term. Silas purchased Koonse Glass in 2013 and Village Glass in 2015 and he currently runs both with the help of Tom Fiegel, his uncle. Silas really loves working at a family-owned and operated business and making every employee and customer feel great about their association with the business. Silas is especially proud of the progress they’ve made over the last year and he is excited about moving the business to its new Paris Road location in 2016.
